Please
be aware that our international shipping fees do
not
include customs charges which some countries may require. Such
charges are not added to your order total by No Sweat Apparel. Payment of these duties are the responsibility of the recipient of the shipment.
>> For Canadian Shipments:
Goods imported into Canada for non-commercial use (shipped to residences) are subject to Provincial Sales Tax (PST) as well as the Federal Sales Tax, also known as the Goods and Services Tax (GST). Canada Customs only assesses taxes (GST or HST) on goods valued at $20 CAD (about $17-21 USD) or more. Taxes are generally about 5-13% (depending on the province destination). There are NO brokerage fees with USPS (UPS, DHL and FedEx all charge brokerage fees on top of customs charges).
Some
customers have found that making several smaller orders
rather than one large order can avoid customs hassles. No
Sweat does not condone or encourage the avoidance of local
customs duties.
Please
note: We can not honor requests to mark
packages as "Gifts" to avoid customs duties. This
would be unlawful and endanger No Sweat's capacity to continue
doing business. Also keep in mind that if you give
a No Sweat Gift
Certificate to a recipient residing outside
of the U.S., the recipient may incur custom duties when they
purchase and receive delivery of their No Sweat order.
